VISUAL MERCHANDISING on the highstreet: My Autumn Winter windows 2014

YES! Winter is coming and we can all wrap up warm (fashionably of course).

Simplicity was key in these windows, letting the stock speak for itself and ensuring the colours complimented each other. Autumnal burgundy's and mustards were the priority colours with a flash of camel too. We dressed the windows keeping in mind key fashion trends such as check prints, longer length winter coats, turtle necks and a nod to faux fur. I loved dressing these windows because of how on trend and modern they are! The team really pulled together and I think the windows flowed in terms of dressing, we all have our individual style but they all sat well together. See what you think!

The backdrops posed questions to customers which I think was a great idea, when do you ever walk down the high street and a window display ever questions you? It really reached out and got inside the customers mind! We really got into the detail also, the socks rolled up in boots was a great idea and the napkins draped over hooks so you could really see the embroidery. These simple but effective windows was a definite success!
