It was about time I bought something new for the home, I've been looking at this for a while and as soon as it went into sale I grabbed it. It sits perfectly on the sideboard amongst everything else I've picked up over the years. It was £15 from House of Fraser but I have seen tons of different variations, Debenhams and Homebase springs to mind! I just loved the style of this with the metal cage globe and the highly polished silver base. These quirky pieces of ornamentation seem to be right on trend at the minute, and I'm keeping my eye out for anything else that will add a bit of interest to my Ikea shelving unit.
I know for most people it would be a love or hate sort of thing, but I love it and just wanted to show it off!
